Inspired by our friends at the Knoxville 24 Hour Film Festival and Secret City Seven-Day Shootout, Knoxville Horror Film Festival's 2011 event featured a new twist on the timed filmmaking competition: teams of local filmmakers were given six days and sixty-six minutes to put together a four-minute grindhouse-style movie trailer rooted in whatever outlandish genre we came up with for them to work with.

13 teams met the challenge, and the results were beyond terrific. Stay tuned for information on 2012's Grindhouse Grind-out in early fall!
